The 2nd most common truck is the Chevrolet Silverado 1500. The Silverado 1500 is the most common out of all of the Chevy trucks. The most common motor in that truck is the 5.3L V8. That motor is probably one of the most reliable motors out of all ½ ton trucks. The most popular trim is the Custom because it offers a wide variety of features. Some common problems that the Sliverado tends to have is transmission lag, airbag failures, and this is not a problem but they have very stiff suspension.
